I've had a faulty Game Gear in storage for many years and just wondering if anyone knows a fix to this problem.
When the Game Gear is turned on, the red light comes on and the screen comes on, but it's black. The game does not start and nothing comes on, it's just the backlight that comes on and the screen is black. Anyone know why this is and how it can be fixed? think it had to do with the power source i used. Instead of a 9volt source i used a 12 volt source - i always used to use this without any problem, until one day the system just stopped working. Could this be the reason for the problem? An additional 3 volts?Anyone know a fix?
Please help.
