Acer has secured themarket leader position2for Q1 2015 in Germany, Netherlands, Malaysia, Thailand, Portugal, SaudiArabia, Austria, Indonesia, Finland, and Denmark. Since launching its first 2-in-1 notebook, the Aspire Switch 10,in the spring of 2014, Acer has continued to diversify its 2-in-1 notebookproduct offering. Acer’s global shipments1 for 2-in-1 notebooks hasseen an 81% year-on-year growth in Q2 2015, becoming the leading brand in thismarket segment. The global 2-in-1 notebook market has grown rapidly as businessand entertainment applications have become increasingly mobile, and consumersare looking for ultra-portable and high-performance notebooks. IDC predictsthat the global 2-in-1 notebook market will increase by 54.84% to 13.44 millionunits in 2015.
